PROACTIVA OPEN ARMS
to achieve it
Who are we?
BRAZADAS DE VIDA arises from the initiative of four swimmers of the Master Madrid Swimming Team. We strive hard to combine our professional life and our sporty life. Great desire and motivation move us to start this Project and we want to change the competition for solidarity.
This project aims to raise awareness of the serious refugee crisis currently experienced in Europe, the danger they face crossing the Mediterranean and the important work of Proactiva Open Arms. All funds raised will go to this NGO in full to help them fulfill their promise: NO MORE REFUGEES ADRIFT.

We will swim in the Mediterranean Sea from Formentera to Ibiza. This is our first challenge and we will swim nonstop for about six hours until we reach the finish line.
The total distance will be approximately 18 km. The race begins at Cala Saona beach in Formentera and then borders the coast during the first three kilometers before heading towards Ibiza. The finish line will be at Salinas beach.
